AIL Law
Entrance Test (LET) is conducted by Army Institute of Law (AIL) to shortlist
aspirants for admission in BA LLB (Hons) course offered at the college. Army
Institute of Law is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala. There are a
total of 80 seats available for admission in BA LLB (Hons) course offered at
Army Institute of Law. Army Institute of Law also offers LLM programme to
candidates and the admission process for this course commences after results
of the final year are declared for BA LLB course by Punjabi University. |

Eligibiity |
Candidates meet AIL LET 2018 eligibility criteria if they have cleared
Class 10+2 examination from Punjab School Education Board or any other
equivalent examination recognised as such by the Punjabi University, Patiala,
with at least 45% marks. On the other hand, any candidate who has passed 10+2
through open university systems directly, without having any basic
qualifications for pursuing such studies, are not eligible for admission in Law
Courses offered at Army Institute of Law. |
Exam Pattern |
AIL LET 2018 test pattern comprises of 200 questions that candidates
need to attempt in two hours duration. Law Entrance Test conducted by Army
Institute of Law consists of objective type questions and the standard of
questions asked is similar to topics studied by candidates at the 10+2
level. The medium if instruction in
AIL entrance exam is English. |

AIL LET 2018 Marking Scheme
There is no negative marking in AIL Entrance Exam. For every correct answer
candidates are awarded one mark. Maximum score a candidate can get in AIL Law
Entrance Test is 200 marks. |
Results |
AIL LET
2018 result is declared on Army Institute of Law’s official website.
Candidates need to enter their roll number in order to view AIL Law Entrance
Test results. The result for Army Institute of Law’s LET exam is declared
after a week of the exam being conducted. |
Admit Card |
AIL LET
2018 admit card is made available on the official website by Army Institute
of Law. Candidates are informed that AIL Entrance Exam admit card will be
available for downloading from the institute’s official website one week
before the date of the law entrance test. The hall ticket for AIL LET would
be issued for only those candidates whose application forms have been duly
filled and submitted as per the exam schedule shared by Army Institute of
Law. |
Counselling |
After results for Law Entrance Test are declared candidates who make
it to the merit list need to appear for the counselling round as per the
schedule shared by Army Institute of Law. AIL LET 2018 counselling round is
usually conducted in two weeks after the law entrance exam is conducted.
Talking about the counselling round for Army Institute of Law admissions, the
official website informs that, “After the declaration of result of Law
Entrance Test 2018, first 100 candidates in order of merit of Army Category
will be called to fill up 60 seats and 20 candidates in order of merit of All
India Civil Category will be called for Counseling to fill 4 seats”. |

in the month of July and the application process for the law entrance test
