                                                                          KLEE or Kerala Law Entrance Examination will be conducted by the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations which was established in 1983. The Kerala CEE 2019 shall be conducted to grant admissions into 3 years LLB/ 5 year LLB/ 5 year LLM courses. Applications will soon be invited for the Entrance examination to be admitted in 4 Govt. Law Colleges and the Private self-financing Law Colleges in Kerala.

KLEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria
                                                                          The criteria for 3 yrs. LLB/ LLM/ 5 yrs. LLB has been provided below. The degree qualification requirements, Age criteria, Minimum marks requirement has been briefed underneath.

Criteria for 3 year LLB course 2019-20

Nativity- candidate must be an Indian Citizen
Age bar- no lower age limit.
Academic qualification- graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 45% marks in aggr. (42% for Backward class) and 40% (for SC/ST)
Criteria for 5 years Integrated LLB course
Nativity– applicant must be an Indian origin born person
Academic qualification- the person applying must have passed a HSC (12th) from a recognised board.
• Candidates going to appear in the final examination of their qualifying exam and who expect to clear the test before the admission of KLEE ends may also apply.
• Minimum marks requirement- Candidate must secure at least 45% in aggregate (42% for educationally  Backward class) and 40% (for SC/ST)
Age criteria- applicant must not be more than 17 yrs. Of age as on 31st December 2019

Criteria for LLM course

Nativity– applicant must be an Indian origin born person
Academic qualification requirement– pass in LLB (5 year/3 year)
Minimum marks requirement- Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in aggregate.
LLM Exam pattern
• There will be 2 papers (Paper-I & Paper-II) each of 90 minutes
Duration of exam- 180 minutes
Type of questions- Objective type of questions
Total number of questions- 100 questions 
Syllabus for KLEE 2019
• Aptitude for Legal Studies– Constitutional Law I, Family Law II, Jurisprudence-I, Family Law I, Law of Contract,Jurisprudence II, Company Law, Constitutional Law II,  Law of Torts including Motor Vehicle Accidents and Consumer Protection Laws, Special Contracts, International Human Rights & Public International Law, Law of Crimes-I, Property Law, Labour Law, Law of Taxation, Administrative Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution etc.
General English- Jumbled words/sentences, Series, Incorrect sentences, Fill in the blanks, Unseen passages, Reading Comprehension, Essay-writing, Direction sense, Blood Relations, Analogy, Critical Reasoning, Syllogism etc.
General Knowledge- Major UN bodies, science and environment, Important awards of the year – sports, literature and arts, science, Overview of Indian history and geography, Important happenings in the area of the Indian Constitution or Justice system and Physical geography etc.
KLEE 2019 Application Form submission
• Candidates seeking admission in the Law programmes must apply in online mode through the official portal at www.cee.kerala.gov.in starting from 03rd week of July 2019 to 04th week of July 2019.
• You will need to provide your personal details, communication details, address details, qualifying examination details, date of birth, gender, email id, mobile number.
Payment- the next step would be to pay the expenses as charged by the Office of the Commissioner for the entrance examination.
• Candidates will have to upload some digital copies of important documents such as- Signature, Photograph etc.
• There will be no need to send the hard copy of the KLEE 2019 application form to the office of the Commissioner for the Entrance examination.

Application Fees of KLEE

• Payment could be made using online medium or e-challan (cash).
• The fees would be non-refundable.

KLEE Admit Card 2019
• Registered candidates for the entrance examination may download their admit cards from the official website at www.cee.kerala.gov.in
• The authority will issue e-signed hall tickets for those who are going to apply for KLEE 2019.
• Candidates may have to enter their APPLICATION NUMBER and PASSWORD at the online portal.
• The KLEE 2019 Exam hall ticket must be brought to the examination hall.
KLEE Result 2019
• Candidates applying for Law Entrance test will be selected on the criteria that they must obtain a rank in the list as per the following requirements:-
• 10% minimum score in total marks in the entrance test for General/SEBC, while those belong to SC/ ST must secure a minimum of 5% of total marks in the test.
• The name in the merit list will be included depending upon fulfillment of this criteria.
• Once the KLEE 2019 Exam result is prepared, it will be uploaded on the official website at www.cee-kerala.org
• The candidate will notice some tabs on the home page such as- Press release, Notification, Rank list and Student Portal.
• Rank list will have S.No., Roll Number, Name, Score and rank of the candidate and in Student portal, individuals marks in subjects will also be displayed.
KLEE Counselling Process 2019
• After result declaration, counselling for Law admission will be held in Online mode will be held
• All the notices will be published at Office of the commissioner’s website at cee-kerela.org
• The counselling will be held in around 3 phases. First phase, Second phase and last phase is Spot admission.
• First of all after result declaration, candidates will have to check the category list and begin filling the Option Registration form.
• Option Registration- Login using the candidate portal and fill the preference of course and college. Registration for options can begin from 02nd week of September 2019 till 03rd week of September 2019. There are 4 Govt. colleges and 5 Private colleges that usually participate.
• So candidates have to exercise their choices among these available options.
• After each phase of seat allotment, candidates have to visit their allotted college and get their seat confirmed.
• Similarly the Second phase will take place to cover the remaining seats.
• Finally, if there are still some seats left, a round up round called Spot Admission will be held.
