                            Law School Admission Test (LSAT)-India is a paper-pencil test conducted across the country by Law School Admission Council (LSAC). The test is conducted to shortlist aspirants for admission in undergraduate and postgr
aduate level law programmes in various law schools in India.

                             LSAT India 2018 is being conducted across 20 test cities in India. LSAT India exam pattern is such that aspirants have to attempt multiple-choice questions in a duration of 2 hours and 20 minutes. The number of colleges accepting LSAT India was limited to 50 till 2014. In 2015, 10 colleges were added to the list and in 2016 this number was further increased to 74. Further, on the basis of LSAT India 2017 scores more than 76 colleges offered admission to aspirants in under-graduate as well as post-graduate law programmes. In 2018 more than 85 law schools will accept LSAT India scores for admission.

                            LSAT India 2018 exam dates have been declared. The law exam is sceduled to be conducted on May 20, 2018.

Eligibility
                              As such there is no LSAT – India eligibility criteria by means of which students can appear for the exam. Officials inform that aspirants only need to follow the published test rules for LSAT India. Apart from this, aspirants need to register for the test and pay the test fee on time. Other than this, there is no LSAT India 2018 eligibility criteria to follow.

                            Aspirants seeking admission in five-year integrated LLB programme are eligible to apply if they have cleared or appeared for their 10+2 level exam. On the other hand, candidates seeking admission in three year LLB course should have secured a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

                           Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria (if any) as listed by the law college wherein they are applying for admission on the basis of LSAT India exam. It is the responsibility of the aspirant to fulfill all the eligibility requirements of a college they are applying for before registering for the LSAT India 2018 exam. If a candidates makes it to the merit list of the LSAT exam and thereafter it is discovered  that the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria of a desired college, then no refund of fee shall be provided.

Age Limit


There is no age limit to apply for LSAT India exam. Candidates have to check the age limit as specified by individual colleges wherein they are seeking admission.
LSAT 2018 Exam Pattern
                           LSAT India 2018 exam pattern is such that the test paper will be divided into the below mentioned four sections:

• Analytical Reasoning
• First Logical Reasoning
• Second Logical Reasoning
• Reading Comprehension
 
                          The LSAT India exam pattern consists of around 92-100 questions to be answered in two hours 20 minutes. The test is in multiple choice question answer format where students have to choose one correct answer from four or five given options. LSAT exam pattern is such that candidates are given 35 minutes to attempt each section. After 35 minutes, a candidate has to wrap up one section and move to the next. Returning to a section or moving to the next section until you finish the previous exam section is not permitted.
LSAT 2018 Syllabus
                           LSAT India syllabus consists of three major heads which comprise of Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. The LSAT syllabus basically comprises of questions based on critical thinking and legal skills.

Analytical Reasoning


                          In this section, candidates are given questions based on structure of relationships where they are required to draw the logical conclusions about that relationship. The relationships can be based on things, persons or events. Candidates have to choose the right statement from the given four or five statements commenting on the structure of the relationship. The test requires a law student to attempt legal solving problems in the section.

Logical Reasoning

                          Candidates are required to critically evaluate, analyse and complete arguments which are given in general language. The section tests the logic of a student. They have to read and comprehend the given passage and answer the questions based on it. The section assesses wide range different attributes of the test taker including thinking critically and skills that are required for legal reasoning.

Reading Comprehension

                           As the name suggests, the section tests the reading skills of a student. It assesses the understanding ability of the aspirant. The section consists of four sets of questions based on reading. Each section offers candidates of selecting and attempting the question put before them as per their preference. The reading material is followed by questions that check the reading as well as reasoning ability of the candidate. Aspirants are advised to refer various law books available in the market or law material provided by the coaching centres. These days, candidates can even go through online reference material available over the internet.
LSAT Admit Card 2018
                           LSAT India 2018 admit card is released online for the Law School Admission Test. Candidates can download their LSAT India admit card issued by Law School Admission Council on Pearson VUE India’s official website.Candidates are informed that the admit card for the law exam would be issued to only those candidates who have duly filled and submitted their LSAT India application form. Every admit card for LSAT India exam contains a unique candidate identification number.
LSAT 2018 Application Form
                            LSAT India application form can be filled and submitted online only. LSAT India is conducted by Pearson VUE on behalf of Law School Admission Council (LSAC). Last year, the registration process for LSAT India exam commenced in the month of September and aspirants could submit their application forms for admission till May 2018. Aspirants are informed that they can submit only one registration form for LSAT India admissions. If any student submits more than one application form then his/her candidature would stand cancelled.
LSAT 2018 Result
                          LSAT India 2018 is to be conducted on May 20 and the result for LSAT India exam will be declared in June. LSAT India results are declared on the official website of the law entrance exam. As part of LSAT result, the scorecard of aspirants is released on the law exam’s official website.
Candidates can check their LSAT India 2018 scorecard by typing their login ID and password on the exam’s official website. Candidates need to note that the details provided by them to check the result are the same as the ones provided by them at the time of registration for the exam. Official website of LSAT India 2018 informs: “Score card will be available for download for two months from the date of announcement of results and cannot be requested after that. No LSAT India scorecard will be sent through e-mail or post”.
