| PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) 2020 |
PESSAT or PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) will be conducted
by PES University for admission to various courses offered by the university.
Candidates can secure admissions into programmes such as BTech, BBA, BBA in
Hotel and Event Management, MTech, MBA, MCA, MSc in Engineering by clearing
PESSAT 2020. Candidates interested in Design programmes will have to appear
for PESSAT DAT. Aspirants will be shortlisted for admissions in PES
University on the basis of their test score as well as their performance in
the personal interview round. Candidates need to note that PESSAT 2020 would
not be applicable for admissions at PESIT South Campus, PESIMSR & PES
Central Campus. Admission to B Arch is done on the basis of NATA score and
for BBA LLB (Hons) admission CLAT score is accepted.
The BTech programmes in which candidates can secure admissions through
PESSAT are in disciplines such as – Biotechnology, Civil Engineering,
Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering,
Electrical and Electronics Engineering as well as Mechanical Engineering.
PESSAT for engineering admissions will be conducted at various test centres
located all over the country. However, the exam for all other courses will be
conducted only at PES University campus in Bangalore. PES University will
conduct PESSAT 2020 in May 2020. Application process for PESSAT 2020 was
started from October 4. |

Process |
Admissions at PES University will be a step by step process.
Candidates have to complete application, slot Booking, PESSAT and
Counselling/Interview.
STEP 1: Application process
Candidates can apply for PESSAT by filling a form online. To apply online,
the candidate will need to register as a new user. On successful
registration, the candidates will get their login IDs.
STEP 2: Slot booking
After submission of the form, the candidates will be asked to book a slot
for the exam. Once they have booked their slot, admit card will be issued.

STEP 3: PESSAT 2020
PESSAT 2020 for all courses except B Tech will be conducted at the
Bangalore campus. B Tech exam will be held at over 40 test centers across the
country.
STEP 4: Counselling/Interview
Candidates passing PESSAT 2020 will be called for Counselling and
Interview, on the basis of their scores. A merit list will be released which
will contain ranks and schedule for the same. |
