Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi will conduct
IIIT Delhi M.Tech 2019 entrance exam for admission to its three M.Tech
programmes - Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and
Communications Engineering (ECE), Computational Biology(CB). The IIIT Delhi
M.Tech entrance exam and interview for CSE and ECE will be conducted on the
same date, tentatively in the 1st week of June 2019, whereas the test and
interview for CB will be conducted around 1st to 2nd week of June. Admissions
are open to GATE and non-GATE candidates, but GATE-qualified candidates would
be given preference during admission. |

Computer Science and Engineering
The eligibility criteria of IIIT Delhi
M.Tech 2019 are the terms and conditions that candidates need to meet to be
considered for admission. It may be noted that the eligibility criteria is
different depending on whether the candidate is applying for CSE, ECE or CB
programmes. Listed below are the eligibility criteria for M.Tech (Computer
Science and Engineering).
• GATE eligibility: Both GATE and non-GATE candidates can apply, but
GATE-qualified candidates will be given preference during the admission
process.
• Qualifying degree: The candidate must have a B.Tech/BE or MCA/MSc in CS/IT
(& its allied areas).
• CGPA Requirement: Both GATE and non-GATE candidates must have a minimum CGPA
of 7.00 out of 10 or 65% marks in
qualifying degree. In case of SC, ST, OBC, PwD and CW category candidates,
the requirement is minimum 6.0 out of 10 or 60%.
IIIT Delhi M.Tech Electronics and
Communications Engineering
M.Tech (Electronics and Communications Engineering) applicants are
required to meet the eligibility criteria for the programme as specified by
admission authorities, which have been given below:
• GATE eligibility: Both GATE and non-GATE candidates are eligible, but
candidates who have GATE will be given preference during admission.
• CGPA Requirement: All candidates must should have a CGPA of 7 out of 10 or
65% marks in qualifying degree. In case of SC, ST, OBC, PwD and CW category
candidates, the requirement is minimum 6.0 out of 10 or 60%.
• Qualifying degree: The candidate must have a B.Tech/BE in ECE/EE (& its
allied areas) or MSc in Electronics. |
IIIT Delhi M.Tech
Computational Biology
Candidates applying to M.Tech (CB) need to meet the following
eligibility criteria:
• GATE and relevant eligibility: Candidates
with GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET will be given preference, though these qualifications
are not mandatory.
• Qualifying degree: The candidate must have B.Tech/BE in
CS/IT/Math-and-Computing. Else, they need:
• B.Tech/BE in any other discipline
• MCA
• MSc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics , Computer Science, Biochemistry,
Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Bioinformatics, Biomedical
sciences)
• B.Pharm
• MBBS
Candidates who have the above qualifications, in addition need to have
done the following either while pursuing their course or from recognised
institution / online education portal:
• Minimum one computer programming course
• At least two Mathematics courses
• CGPA Requirement: All candidates must
should have a CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or 65% marks in qualifying degree. The
candidate also must have passed all previous exams, including 10+2, with
minimum 60% marks. For SC, ST, OBC, PwD and CW category candidates, the
requirement is minimum 6.0 out of 10 or 60%. The requirement for marks in
previous exams is 55% |

Candidates who successfully fill the application form will be issued
IIIT Delhi M.Tech 2019 admit cards in online mode, through applicant log-in
accounts. The IIIT Delhi M.Tech 2019 admit card is an important document that
is required not just to take the test, but also to complete other admission
formalities as well. Before downloading the admit card, the candidate
therefore should ensure that the details mentioned on it are correct and

M.Tech Entrance Exam 2019 Result |
The
result of IIIT Delhi M.Tech Entrance Exam 2019 will be declared in the form
of merit lists tentatively in the first week of June. Candidates who are
listed in the IIIT Delhi M.Tech 2019
merit list will be eligible to participate in the aptitude test and personal
interview that will be conducted at the institute campus. The merit list will
be available in downloadable PDF format. |

M.Tech Entrance Exam 2019 Counselling |
The
institute will conduct the counselling of IIIT Delhi M.Tech 2019 admission in
offline mode. So, candidates will have to visit the counselling venue in
person on the assigned day and time with all the prescribed documents,
including originals and photocopies. IIIT Delhi M.Tech 2019 counselling will
include steps like document verification and seat allotment. Please note that
if a candidate fails in the document verification process, his/her
candidature may be cancelled even if the candidate qualifies in the written
test. The seat allotment of IIIT Delhi
M.Tech 2019 will likely be conducted in three rounds. |
