| CEPT Entrance Exam 2018 Eligibility |
To fulfill
the CEPT entrance exam 2018 eligibility criteria for admission in Bachelor of
Interior Design programme, candidates need to fulfill the below mentioned
requirements:
• Should clear Standard XII exams from Gujarat board or other equivalent
boards such as CBSE/ CISCE/ NIOS/ ISB/ IB.
• Should pass Standard XII in Science stream with Physics and Maths as
mandatory subjects and Biotechnology/ Chemistry / Computer / Biology as an
optional subject.
• Should score at least 50% aggregate marks in Standard XII exams (45%
aggregate marks for SC/ ST/ SEBC candidates).
Candidates who are waiting for Standard XII exam results and who have
applied for verification of Standard XII exam marks also fulfill the CEPT
eligibility criteria for admission in the Interior Design programme. However,
such students need to present a certificate from the principal of the school
stating that the candidate has appeared for Standard XII exams in Science
stream.
Note: 50% of the
total seats are reserved for candidates who have passed their qualifying exam
from schools located in Gujarat including Diu, Daman, and Dadra Nagar Haveli.
The official website informs, "These seats shall be filled as per the
guidelines of ACPC. Candidate has to apply to ACPC, GoG,
separately." |

CEPT
entrance exam 2018 centre details are not out yet. However, in 2017, the
entrance exam was conducted at the main campus of CEPT University, Ahmedabad,
Gujarat.

Once all
admission rounds are conducted, CEPT University declares CEPT entrance exam
result on its official website/ university notice board as per the prescribed
date and time. CEPT merit list/ exam result contains the names as well as
application numbers of candidates who clear all admission rounds of CEPT
University.
To
check CEPT entrance exam result/ merit list candidates can visit the
admission portal (http://admissions.cept.ac.in/undergraduate or
http://admissions.cept.ac.in/postgraduate) of the varsity and click on the
Merit List link present on the page.
Thereafter, all qualifying candidates are offered admission in their
respective courses provided at CEPT University on the basis of merit. |

| CEPT
University sends admit cards to candidates on their registered email IDs as
per the prescribed date. Therefore, candidates are advised to be careful at
the time of writing their email address in CEPT online application form for
smooth communication. Once the email is received, candidates need to take a
printout of the admit card and check if every detail mentioned is correct. In
case of any discrepancy in the information provided, candidates can contact
the varsity. It may be noted that it is mandatory to carry the admit card at
the exam centre. Candidates not carrying CEPT entrance exam admit card at the
exam centre might not be allowed to appear for the exam. CEPT entrance exam
admit card contains details such as name and roll number of the candidate;
date and time of exam; and exact address of the exam centre. |

Exam Counselling 2018 |
After CEPT entrance exam results are declared, candidates are allotted
seats in Bachelor of Interior Design and Bachelor of Construction Technology
courses on the basis of merit through counselling. The official website
informs, “At the time of counselling students are admitted in the order of
the final merit list on the spot. They can secure admission by paying full
fees + a refundable deposit (amount as decided by CEPT University).”
Some of the documents that candidates need to carry at the time of
CEPT entrance exam counselling are as follows: Certificate & mark sheet
of Class X , Certificate & mark sheet of Class XII , Passport size
photographs , Caste certificate, if applicable , Migration certificate, if
applicable , Character certificate. |
